SwipePlan

Privacy Policy

Effective August 1, 2026

SwipePlan is operated by Thoughtless Marketing, Inc. (“SwipePlan,” “we,” or “us”). This policy explains how SwipePlan handles information when you use the app, the website, Cloud Pro, or support.

SwipePlan works without an account. By default, your plan stays in the app’s private storage on your device. If you choose the optional SwipePlan Cloud Pro subscription, SwipePlan creates an account and sends the data described below to our cloud providers so it can be backed up and synchronized.

Data stored on your device

SwipePlan stores task titles, notes, checklist items, due dates, priorities, estimates, attachments you choose, daily plans, swipe history, reminder preferences, and analytics derived from that information. This information is used only to provide the app’s features.

Photos and files

SwipePlan asks for photo or file access only when you choose to add a header image or attachment. Selected files are copied into the app’s private storage. SwipePlan does not scan the rest of your library.

Notifications

If enabled, SwipePlan schedules a local daily planning reminder. The current version does not send your task content to a push-notification server.

Support and account emails

When you request a sign-in link or one-time code, Supabase and our email provider process your email address to deliver it. If you contact support or request account deletion by email, we receive your email address, message, and any device details or files you choose to include. Support email is hosted by Namecheap. Do not include private task content or attachments unless they are necessary to resolve your request.

App updates and diagnostics

SwipePlan uses Expo Application Services (EAS Update) to check for app updates and help recover from failed updates. When the app checks for an update, Expo may process the app’s project identifier, your operating-system version, a random installation token, and limited update-install or crash status. This information is used to deliver updates, understand update adoption, and reduce failed launches. It is not linked to a SwipePlan account, used for advertising, or used to track you across apps or websites.

Task titles, notes, checklists, attachments, plans, and personal insights are not included in these update requests. See Expo’s privacy policy for information about Expo’s processing.

Optional SwipePlan Cloud

Cloud Pro is optional. When you sign in, we process your email address, a SwipePlan account ID, and a random app-installation identifier to authenticate the account and coordinate synchronization. When Cloud Pro is active, SwipePlan stores a cloud copy of the task titles, notes, checklists, dates, priorities, estimates, attachments, selected images, daily plans, swipe and completion history, and settings—including an optional display name—that are already on your device. This information is linked to your SwipePlan account and used only to provide backup, recovery, cross-device sync, security, and support.

Cloud account, database, file, and authentication services are provided by Supabase. Cloud data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a private account-scoped area. SwipePlan does not claim that Cloud Pro is end-to-end encrypted.

Purchases

Cloud Pro purchases are processed by Apple or Google and RevenueCat. They process a SwipePlan account identifier, transaction and product identifiers, purchase history, subscription status, and device or store technical information needed to offer, complete, restore, and manage purchases. SwipePlan does not send task content or attachments to RevenueCat, Apple, or Google as part of purchase processing.

Service providers and processing locations

We use Supabase for accounts and cloud storage, RevenueCat for subscription entitlements, Expo for app delivery and updates, Apple and Google for store distribution and payments, and Namecheap for support email. These providers process information only for the services described in this policy and under their applicable data-protection terms. They may process information in the United States, Canada, or other countries where they operate, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

For more information, see the providers’ policies: Supabase, RevenueCat, Expo, Apple, Google, and Namecheap.

Data sharing and sale

SwipePlan has no advertising SDK and no third-party behavior-analytics SDK. We do not sell personal information or use it to track you across apps or websites. We disclose data only to the service providers named in this policy so they can operate SwipePlan, when you explicitly export or share something, or when required by law.

Security

We use HTTPS, account-scoped access controls, private cloud file storage, and restricted service credentials to protect Cloud Pro data. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, so Cloud Pro should not be the only copy of independently important information.

Device backups

Android app-data backup is disabled. Your operating system may include private SwipePlan data in an iPhone or iPad device backup controlled by your Apple account and settings. SwipePlan cannot access those operating-system backups. Cloud Pro creates a separate cloud copy only after you choose to sign in and subscribe.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains on your device until you delete it, erase all local data in Settings, or uninstall the app, subject to your operating system’s backup behavior. Cloud data remains while your SwipePlan account exists so recovery and synchronization can work. Canceling or allowing Cloud Pro to expire stops future synchronization after the paid period; it does not delete your local plan or automatically delete the cloud account.

You can permanently delete the active SwipePlan account, synchronized task data, private files, and SwipePlan’s RevenueCat subscriber association from Settings → Delete cloud account. The local plan remains on that device unless you erase it separately. Deleting the cloud account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription; manage or cancel that separately through the store. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or we may retain limited transaction, security, fraud-prevention, tax, or accounting records when required by law or reasonably necessary to resolve a transaction. Those records are not used for advertising.

If you no longer have the app, follow the request instructions on the account-deletion support page. Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain appropriate business records, or meet legal obligations.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can use the full local planning loop without an account, decline Cloud Pro, export a readable copy of local task data, erase local data, sign out, restore eligible purchases, manage a subscription through your store, or delete the cloud account. The current JSON export does not include attachment file contents and is not an in-app restore package.

Depending on where you live, you may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we control, or withdraw consent for optional processing. Email us from the address associated with the account. We may need to verify the request before acting on it, and some rights may be subject to lawful exceptions.

Children

SwipePlan is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly create Cloud Pro accounts for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as SwipePlan changes. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and, when appropriate, notice in the app or store listing.
