Terms of Use
Effective August 1, 2026
These terms are between you and Thoughtless Marketing, Inc., the operator of SwipePlan (“SwipePlan,” “we,” or “us”). By downloading or using the app, website, or Cloud Pro service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
SwipePlan is a personal planning tool. It is provided as-is and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, safety, or emergency advice.
Eligibility and license
You must be at least 13 years old to create a SwipePlan cloud account. Subject to these terms and the applicable store rules, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SwipePlan for lawful purposes.
Your content
You retain ownership of and responsibility for task content and files you add. Do not use the app to store content you do not have the right to use. If you enable Cloud Pro, you give us and our service providers permission to host, copy, transmit, and process that content only as needed to provide backup, recovery, synchronization, security, and support.
Local use and optional cloud service
The complete local planning loop works without an account. You are responsible for your device and local backups. Optional JSON exports are readable records of task data and history, not in-app restore packages, and do not include attachment file contents.
SwipePlan Cloud Pro is an optional hosted backup, recovery, and synchronization service. Cloud Pro is not an archival guarantee: service interruptions, synchronization conflicts, or loss may occur. Keep any independently important information somewhere else. If your subscription lapses, the local copy remains usable but cloud uploads and cross-device synchronization stop.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt related services, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.
Store terms
Use of the app is also subject to the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms, including any standard end-user license terms that apply where you obtained the app. The store, not SwipePlan, processes store payments and may apply its own refund, cancellation, and family-sharing rules. If these terms conflict with mandatory store terms, the mandatory store terms control.
Purchases and subscriptions
The purchase screen shows available products, localized prices, billing periods, and included benefits before the native store confirmation. Cloud Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple or Google account under the store’s rules. Canceling takes effect according to the store and does not automatically delete the SwipePlan account. Restore Purchases and Manage Subscription are available in SwipePlan Settings when supported by the store.
Account deletion
You can delete your SwipePlan cloud account in Settings. Deletion is permanent for the cloud copy and does not erase the local plan on that device. It also does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it separately through Apple or Google. See the account-deletion support page if you no longer have access to the app.
Service changes and suspension
We may change, update, or discontinue features, or restrict a cloud account that is used unlawfully or to disrupt the service. We will not intentionally make local task data conditional on a Cloud Pro subscription. When reasonably possible, we will provide notice before a material reduction to a paid service.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, SwipePlan is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
We may update the app or these terms. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date. If you do not agree to an update, stop using the app.
